It only accepts one document, so just do it in PDF and combine all PDFs of the requested documents and upload that

Anonymous participant 252 That's really for a visa-waiver, not DTV.

Don't think that's the case. I, like hundreds or thousands, had no issues getting the DTV using Wise. If others failed, could be for different reasons, given the denial comes with no reasons.

I've not heard of anyone being turned down BECAUSE of using Wise. Lots (myself included) were successful. It could be others fell foul for other reasons, given that the denial comes with no explanation.

It's actually the most sensible reply, even if you think it's unhelpful. It varies with date, etc., so only the individual can really make an assessment. I didn't read Ben's reply as anything other than logical.

There would be something to transfer, and that would be to update the passport number in their systems, so that the new passport would be registered instead of the old. But they don't do that, and they won't.

Immigration don't ISSUE the DTV, so I doubt they'd be able to create a new one for a new passport.

I very much doubt it, as there's also no reason there not to just have both passports with you.

What I received was this:

"Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your email. If your current passport with your visa has expired, you must carry both your old passport (containing the valid visa) and your new passport whenever you travel to Thailand. Immigration officers will refer to your visa on your old passport when processing your entry and stamp your new passport accordingly. In the event that you lose the old passport containing the visa, you will be required to apply for a new visa without exception. Please note that we are unable to transfer a visa from an old passport to a new one.

Best regards,

The Visa Team"
