Assuming you can get an extension 30 days before the expiration (45 days in some places), you could get the 30 day extension now, which would give you 30 days past Nov 24, then on the 24th, or earlier if allowed, apply for the covid extension before the 26th. Make sense? That would give you another 90 days. Anyone disagree?
- for a non-o for the purposes of retirement there is no seasoning required at all to get the non-o. To get the retirement extension it has to be seasoned for 60 days.
- to get a non-o you have to have the 800k in a Thai bank, not seasoned. But it does have to be deposited from overseas. If the account has been in country for a few years, will the bank still have the info showing it came from overseas all those years ago?
