OK, some info for those interested. We got out of quarantine 2 days ago. We had planned to head straight down to Pattaya, but decided to stay in Bangkok for awhile. We did go by the ekkamai bus terminal and they said the busses to Pattaya run 2 times a day, at 9am and 5pm. That was two days ago. Things may be completely different now since things are completely different. 😉
We are near Nana. Does anyone know where to go to get the largest ATM withdrawal limit? A few years ago we were able to get 45k from the Citibank ATM by terminal 21, but I think it's not that much anymore.
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares their experience navigating Bangkok after quarantine, mentioning bus schedules to Pattaya and seeking information about ATM withdrawal limits. The conversation reveals varying limits across banks, with most capped at 20,000 to 30,000 THB per transaction. Options for higher withdrawals include counter transactions, with some banks allowing up to 50,000 THB per day. Additionally, experiences with travel between Bangkok and Pattaya and the current travel regulations are discussed.
If you're talking about a foreign card, you can take 30k at a time from the ATMs of Krungsri, TTB (formerly TMB), and Citibank. CIMB also allowed this, but I think they've gotten rid of all their machines, other than perhaps a few attached to physical branches.

SCB used to let you change your limit for a one time withdrawal by putting your passport number in. Might just be for customers that bank with them. It offered me upto 100k

I've only ever known the maximum I've been able to take out at any ATM is 30k

Kasikorn will allow 50,000 per day but have to do 30k then 20k straight after.
hello Scot, i went from bkk to pattaya today. 1.200 thb (including toll way fee) by a random taxi driver. there was a check point outside of pattaya and i had to get out of the taxi and was questioned by the police regarding reason of travel. i explained (medical reason) and was allowed to continue.
