What documents do I need to bring to report my address at Jomtien immigration, and is it more crowded than Bangkok immigration?

We've travelled from Bangkok to Pattaya by bus. We left from ekkamai bus terminal, the cost is still 119 baht each, and there are many more scheduled departures than the last time we were there mid July. It seems the opening of Pattaya on Oct 1st has been moved back to Nov 1. Yeah, we'll see. At least the beaches are open.

We will be going to Jomtien immigration tomorrow to report our new address. Is it just a matter of filling out a form or are there documents such as copies we need to bring? Can we fill out the form there? Is Jomtien more crowded than Bangkok immigration? We found both mtt and cw to be mostly empty.

Some reading I've just done on this is that they may want a tm30 or a tm28 or both. ???

Attached bus schedule.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers have shared their recent experience of traveling from Bangkok to Pattaya by bus, noting the low fare of 119 baht and the increase in scheduled departures. There is uncertainty about the opening of Pattaya, originally planned for October 1, which has been pushed to November 1. The author queries about the process of reporting a new address at Jomtien immigration, wondering if they need to fill out forms on-site, what documents to bring (specifically mentioning TM30 and TM28), and how the crowd sizes at Jomtien compare to Bangkok immigration.

Its been a few years since I was at the Bangkok immigration but from my experience they are completely different. Jomtien is usually quick.

Huge thanks for posting bus schedule.
