Hi guys, so my friend (an OIC holder) is applying the DTV from South India and he has provided all the required documents. But the immigration is asking for addition papers which says -
"Document indicating current location: Upload a government issued current location document like a national ID or rental agreement. Note that it should be a location from South India".
The issue is, he has already submitted the entry stamp, hotel receipts and reccomendation letter but they still do not accept. So, he has tried to get "Form C" from the hotel but turns out the hotel which he has been staying for 3 weeks has been registered under a different catagory and thus, cannot provide it. The immigration in India also said that it's the hotel's job to give Form C and that he cannot get a reccomendation letter from them either.
So, he has called about 20 hotels so far if they can provide it and none of them even know about the form. There is two 5 star hotels which may provide it (not guaranteed also) but the rates are very expensive.
We are trying to think of an alternative way but cannot come up with anything else. Is there another way to prove this?
Hello im renting an apartment for a year with perfect homes (chiang mai) and I am in thailand withthe dtv visa.
The rental contract says that the owner is only responsible to file tm30 for the first time and everytime i exit and come back to the country it is my responsibility to file the tm30.
I read online that says its the owner’s responsibility to do it. So my question is- How do i go about doing it as instructions are unclear everywhere, some says i can do it online, some says i need to go to the immigration office.
Hello, regarding this category: I'll be staying at my girlfriend's father's villa. Since it doesn't have an official name, I'll simply list it as "Villa with the number" followed by the address, etc. Do they ask for a TM30 form or other document ?
Quick question - Visa waiver 60 days → Non - O ( retirement) → 12 months stay extension ( retirement) ( EU citizen)
bkk immigration forms Website : show that approximately the application for conversion of waiver in Non -O is approx. 20days before end of waiver. All my requirements are OK.. including TM30 -
the question is: how can I show a rental payment of at least 3 months if I only had the TM 30 2 weeks after arrival... so to speak 1 month before applying to conversion??
isn't the One Year Rental agreement sufficient with all the 1+ 2 months deposits sufficient?
Hi all, I'm planning to soon go for my first non o marriage extension at Jomtien immigration. It seems a complex process with a lot of documents.
Think I've got everything but wondering about house requirements, We have a copy of tabian baan for my wife, she is registered at the family home in another province. This seems the requirement listed on official sites.
Seen someone say they will need a copy of the house book for where we live too? (contact landlord?) another post i have seen saying they needed copies of rental agreement and landlords ID signed by landlord?
Anyway any advice about this appreciated. If anyone has done this extension recently and has tips or info please let me know thanks.
Hi I would have a question about how the fine tm 30 works. I had already had a room in jomtien chonbury with tm 30. I haven’t been out of Thailand in years. about a month ago I took another room in rayong with annual contract, the owner did not do the 30 tm.now I decided to leave the room of jomtien. If I go to the rayong immigration to make new tm 30 of the room in rayong and show the contract started already a month ago, do I have to pay the fine for delay? thanks
Hey everyone. Questions keep coming up trying to apply for a dtv. Do we need evidence of residence when applying? I'm planning to stay at my friends condo and I'm planning to pay rent there. What's the best way to show that?
Also, to show 500,000 in the bank would the most current bank statement be enough? Thanks for the help.
If the house I’ve been renting for almost 8 months is in my wife’s name, what documents do I need to submit with my application? The rental agreement is under her name, and the year is nearly over. I’m feeling quite worried after reading some posts about people getting rejected.
