We went to Jomtien immigration last Friday to get our first covid extension after a 28 day under consideration period and to do our first 90 day report after obtaining our non-o for retirement purposes. They took our passports, gave us claim numbers and told us to come back on Monday. We went back on Monday. We got our stamp, and contrary to what people said on here, it was a 60 day stamp from the end of our current stamp, the non-o, and not 60 days from the application date. We also asked to do our 90 day reporting and they said we were good until the covid extension expires. That was kinda surprising to me, I just hope they understood what we were trying to do.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully obtained their first Covid extension while on a Non-O visa for retirement purposes. After an initial waiting period, they received a 60-day extension from the end of their current stamp, rather than the application date, which contradicted some previous community opinions. Furthermore, they were informed that a 90-day report was unnecessary until the Covid extension expires, which caused some confusion among commenters.
