Jumping through hoops again. What is involved in getting a residency certificate from immigration at Jomtien? Apparently having a passport with visa and residence paper stapled in isn't good enough for a bank. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a residency certificate from immigration at Jomtien, you typically need to provide documentation that proves your need for the certificate, such as a booking for a driver's license, proof of address, or details for a bank account. Required documents might include your passport, visa, TM30 form, photographs, and a fee of 300 baht. Banks often require proof of residence like a utility bill or rental agreement in addition to the residency certificate.

I need to.open a Bangkok bank account to deposit the money for retirement ( will apply next year ) I owned my a condo here for 10 years and am here on 45 days VE. They told me to go to immigration and fill in a form to say I need the bank account. Though I'm not applying for extension based on retirement yet. Bank didn't give me anything to show immigration.

You need to prove to them why you need one.
A booking at the dlt, a receipt to buy a bike car etc.
The blue or green book to change ownership of a vehicle etc
