TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the best day to visit Muang Thong Thani (MTT) for visa-related services. While there are no genuinely good days to visit, Mondays and Fridays are noted as the busiest. It's important to arrive early, around 9:00-9:30 AM, since there is a limit of 300 people per day for visa extensions, specifically for COVID-related extensions. Visitors seeking extensions should be aware of these limits and plan accordingly to avoid long waits.

they're pretty much the same, BUT remember if you're going because you need to get another covid extension they only accept 300 people a day. then turn people away. As Bobby said Mondays and Fridays are busier.

- we are going for a 30 day extension to our 45 day visa exempt entry. Any limits there?

yep, same limits you're using Counter K at Muang Thong Thani and they have a 300 person per day limit no matter what extension they're handing out in that section.

- sounds arbitrary. Do they give tickets out early so you don't have to wait all day to find out you can't get in?

you can think it sounds how ever you want, that doesn't factor into the equation ;)

I'd say show up there around 9:00-9:30 and you'll be fine.

No sense getting there at the crack of dawn with the zombie horde.

Since they extended the 60 day covid program until Sept 27th it got a lot less busy there because people milking those covid extensions have time to apply for another one.

Muang Thong Thani immigration office in Bangkok, used to submit 90 day report, TM30, and extension of stays based on a 45 day visa exempt for people who are living in Bangkok.

There's never a good day to go to MTT, it's the arsehole of the world, a godforsaken car park in the middle of nowhere. I'd rather have a tooth pulled than go there
