standard Ed visas are not 1 year

They are 90 day visa that are extended at immigration

At any time an I/O can deny the extension

The disconnect is that you pay for a year but in reality it’s only 90 days at a time per extension

You get 90 day visas with extensions

At any 90 day point immigration can decide not to extend you 90 days
