I am due to apply for my first 12 month retirement extension having arrived from the UK on a non-o visa 2 months ago. I am looking for a definitive answer as to whether the 800000 baht deposited in my Thai bank account 2 months ago has to come from abroad or is it acceptable to come from another Thai bank account.Thanks.
I recently switched my non-o-1-year extension based on retirement A one-year extension based on marriage The multiple entry permit That I had on the retirement extension Had not expired yet Does the Multiple entry permit Still continue to its originally expiry date Does it expire when I changed to the marriage extension and therefore need to get a new multiple entry permit
I have a clarification question regarding the certification letter from BBK. I have been told that I have to apply 7 days in advance and letter is good for 7 days after receiving with signature, also was told by an agent that letter has to be day of application which I think is impossible and immigration will not allow email.
Also does letter need to be for 6 or 12 months and finally was told I need to go to branch where I opened my account not a local branch.
I am currently on a 12 month non-o retirement extension, previously living in Chiang Mai, however I have now relocated and are living in Roi Et (in Thai partner’s house).
What do I need to do when doing a 90 day report here and also what to do when applying for my next extension later this year?
UPDATE: Bangkok Bank provided a Credit Advice that showed the September transaction as a internal transfer and not a foreign transfer the bank manager said because that was a widespread problem in September only, they have made it acceptable with immigration, as long as the credit advice shows it was a transfer from Kasikorn to Bangkok Bank and all other transactions were normal “foreign transfers” . I then went to immigration and was given my 12 month extension with no questions asked….😎
Wise sent one of my 12 transfers labeled incorrectly (says DEP TRF FR E-CH instead of FOREIGN T/T). Will obtaining Babgkok Bank Credit Advice solve the problem so I can renew my non-o retirement extension? Thx in advance
How to change back from a marriage extension to a retirement extension ? This in Jomtien, as the extension based on marriage is becoming a big joke. ( no, I ‘m not divorced ) . Thank you 🙏.
Hi, if I enter Thailand with a non O 90 day visa and already have 800k in a Thai bank, can I apply for a retirement extension right away? And is insurance required?
Hi all. Getting conflicting information about how long the ฿800K needs to be in the bank before renewing retirement extension. Some say 3 months, some say 2. Will be apply for renewal in Phetchaburi province. Thanks. Would go and ask but I’m in another province for a bit. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
When doing the 90 day reporting at Bangkok CW in person, does it have to be on the exact date or is there some flexibility like on the online reporting?
Also, is it possible to do the 90 reporting and then apply to renew my retirement extension, which will be due 3 weeks after, on the same day, saving a return trip.
