No to get a thai bank account you need a non o visa and to get a retirement visa you need a thai bank account

Yes i had my account frozen i had emailed head office about the situation and received a email back stating branch manager can unfreeze yourself account so i rang the manager who is in khon kaen and i am in buriram and argued the fact as to the reply i got back and 10 minutes later my account was opened you need to hassle then in a polite way and kerp at them

Cannot get a retirement visa without a bank account and you can't get a bank account without a non o visa minimum length of visa is 12 months

Just spoke with the ma of bangkok bank in khon kaen where my account is frozen she told me future bank accounts for a retirement visa will require your retirement information at your retiring age 67 in Australia don't know if this is right but wouldn't surprise me
