Just spoke with the ma of bangkok bank in khon kaen where my account is frozen she told me future bank accounts for a retirement visa will require your retirement information at your retiring age 67 in Australia don't know if this is right but wouldn't surprise me

some agents will provide the 800,000 bht but for a fee but this could come back at you and bite you on the atse because technically speaking this is to show you have enough funds to support yourself in Thailand

no quarantine it apparently takes 2 hours at the bangkok end i will be met by a representative and they will handle all the paperwork
