Hi guys,

Is it possible to get a retirement visa while currently in the country on a tourist visa, without having a Non-O or a Thai bank account? Is the only option in this case unfortunately to leave the country and apply for the Non-O abroad?

Hi, I plan to retire to Pattaya this year from the US on a retirement visa. I’ve been advised to come on a tourist visa.

I don’t want to have to leave and come back.

Question- if I have to have 800000 in a bank account for 60 days before I can apply for a retirement visa how can I do this on a 30 or 60 day visa?

Thanks for any advice.
