says you can probably do this your first time as well.
I believe you have to report once in person, to get setup and after that you can do it online/via app.
```
If I don't have to leave why was I fined overstay in December??
```
You arrived with a visa that is valid for entry for 1 year, but each entry gives you 90 days.
You need to provide full dates, did you arrive on 1st of Sep 2021, or 31st of Sep 2021? Either which way, it sounds like you stayed in Thailand for 94 days before trying to obtain an extension.
```
If I do have to leave what are the best options land or air??
```
You said you have a new yearly extension that expires in Feb 2023, if you have an "extension" you report at your local immigration office each 90 days, or online, or by mail. Failure to do so is I believe a 1900 baht fine.
Also "best options" are totally up to you, and since that will be in Feb 2023, worry about it closer to the date with the whole border situation atm.
If you've not already had one within your current entry, you could also apply for a 60 day extension based on "visiting family". Depending on your immigration office you'll need documents "similar" to a year long extension based on marriage minus the financials. If I'm not mistaken you are only entitled to one such extension per entry.
is it possible to apply for the 60 day extension based on family and then applying for the year long extension without having a non-o visa in the first place?
I ask because I had a similar situation to Jing last year and 2 pages would have been enough to get both the 60 day and year long extension in the passport.
If you are within the initial 90 day entry stamp of your non-o visa, and as Steve has mentioned, have thai dependant relatives, you can apply for a 60 day family extension.
If you are currently on said 60 day family extension, normally your only choice would be to apply for a year long extension OR leaving the country (border hop perhaps).
Right now is not normal, and so you have another option. If you cannot travel back to your country you can apply for a 60 day extension based on not being able to travel.
What was the first (I guess your current) extension based on?
I'll assume 60 day family extension. As far as normal procedure goes, your best bet, if you can meet the requirements would be to get a year long extension of stay.
Since it's not normal times, the "covid" extension has been continued until 30thMarch 2021. You will have to ask your local immigration office for the exact requirements to apply for the covid extension.
The form in question is as Piet de Keizer has mentioned, however you will require further documents. Many immigration offices differ in their requirements and you will have to visit your local immigration office. You can roughly expect the following:
(you may require copies of all listed below).
* TM.7.
* Your passport.
* Your TM.6.
* Your children(s) birth certificates, if applicable
* Your spouses ID card.
* Your spouses Tabian Baan page.
* A Google map print out with directions to your house.
* A hand drawn map with directions to your house.
* Pictures of you and your wife at your house.
* Your bankbook, and a recent statement showing 400k or I believe MINIMUM (not average) 40k thb per month.
