I'm coming to thailand in February. I was last here in June for 7 weeks.

I want to stay for up to 90 days.

So. What is best ? VOA or apply for a TR.

Both offer a 60 day visit and both extendable by 30 days.

Why would I apply for a TR over a VOA when they are effectively the same ?

Thank-you

I’m applying for a tourist visa with multiple re entries, it’s 60 days but I can re enter again to extend it, I plan to stay 90 days and have my flights booked should I say on my visa application I intend to stay for 90 days or 60 days and just book a flight to Laos as proof I’m leaving? Or just show them my flight back to Dublin which is 89 days later?

Hello all , I know it’s a regular question but the rules change so regularly, I’m planning next year to visit Thailand again for 3 months, I have in the past used my passport for the first 30 days applied also for the extra 30 days via an e- visa ( done online ) & then when in Thailand gone to the dreaded local immigration offices for the remaining days to cover my return flight to the uk . My questions are , have the laws changed & have I been doing the easiest ways of staying in Thailand for 90 days ? . Thank you for any replies .

Hello, newbie here...I would really appreciate some guidance. I hope to stay in Thailand 90 consecutive days at a time. I qualify for O visa, but I can't live in Thailand full time. My question is, can I apply for O visa everytime I come to Thailand, which gives me 90 days, then not extend it for the full year, and repeat the same process the following year? I am an American but not retired yet. Thanks in advance for sharing your wisdom and sage advice. Lu

Citizens of: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, South Korea, Peru are permitted to stay up to 90 days

I use Brazilian passport,

My Question:

For example, if I leave Thailand after 80 days and re-enter Thailand after 2 weeks, do I get 90 days stay again?

Seeking expert advice here:

a) Looking to apply for STV (is this the best option for long term 90 days stay? since.. 1) I'm not looking to marry, 2) I'm just working hybrid and would like to travel more of Thailand as I work)

b) Plan to arrive in Thailand 6 September, travel to Siem Reap 10-14 Sep, come back to Thailand. Question: Does this "reset" my 90 day stay or how does it work?

Does the 90 day means I shouldn't exit Thailand?

c) Read up on the STV requirements and it seems I need a Thai insurance, as well as one from my home country. AND a medical declaration endorsed by a doctor to show I'm disease free. All adds up to $$. This is all necessary right?

Thank you all, I just spent 30 Days here on Visa-Exempt, heading home Monday and planning to apply for the visa back at the embassy.
