Hello,

I went to Songkhla immigration today to apply for a year long extension of stay based on marriage. Below are the documents required for Songkhla immigration, please note that the immigration wanted 2x every document, including forms like tm.7. With this, we received our "under consideration" stamp.

For Everyone:

* TM.7.

* Your passport.

* Copies of ALL passport pages.

* Your TM.6.

* A copy of your TM.6.

* Your children(s) birth certificates, if applicable

* Your spouses ID card.

* Your spouses Tabian Baan page.

* A Google map print out with directions to our house.

* A hand drawn map with directions to our house.

* Pictires of you and your spose in various locations around the house. Notably, at the front of our house with the house number clearly visible.

* In our case, the owner of the house is my wifes father, we needed his ID card and his Tabian Baan page.

* A form (unsure of name, handed to you by immigration) declaring that the foreigner is allowed to stay at the house.

For Men:

* Your bankbook.

* Copies of ALL bankbook pages.

* A recent bank statement (ours stated it was valid for 7 days) with 400k thb+. Not sure if necessarily required however SCB also provided us with a signed letter verifying funds were available along with the statement.

As usual, these can change so just go pick up a handout and any necessary forms.

Relating to current times (covid-19 for future reference): We were not told to return before July 31st 2020, nor did we ask if it was possible to delay the extension. Additionally, we were told by the member of staff vetting our paperwork, that the Songkhla immigration is only allowing 3* appointments for year long extension of stays based on marriage per day and the lady responsible for handling the applications, only works 3 days per week.

* It seems they do process more than 3 applications per day, if they have time at the end of the day. If you're in Songkhla, I wouldn't bother delaying, just go early and at worst book an appointment for the following day/available slot. The immigration was essentially empty.

Thanks
