TLDR : Answer Summary
A Non-O visa can only be extended for a year, provided you meet specific requirements related to its original basis (e.g., marriage, family, retirement). There is no option for an additional 30 days; the only related extension is a 60-day "visit Thai family" extension for those with Thai dependents or a 60-day COVID extension available until March 30, 2021.

As
@Stu***
says there is no 30 day extention to a Non Imm O visa, only 1 year, or 60 days if you have Thai dependant relatives.

I think you're getting a bit confused.

If you are within the initial 90 day entry stamp of your non-o visa, and as Steve has mentioned, have thai dependant relatives, you can apply for a 60 day family extension.

If you are currently on said 60 day family extension, normally your only choice would be to apply for a year long extension OR leaving the country (border hop perhaps).

Right now is not normal, and so you have another option. If you cannot travel back to your country you can apply for a 60 day extension based on not being able to travel.

So my Non-O visa (to visit Thai wife) can be extended for another 60 days and the permitted length of stay is up to 90 days correct?

Yes, you get 90 days on the single entry Non Imm O plus a 60 day extention, giving you 150 days in total.

A non o visa can only be extended for a year extension provided you meet the requirements (depends on the reason you got the non o in the first place - marriage, family, retirement, etc). There is no 60 or 30 day option on that visa. If you are married to a Thai or have a half Thai child then you have a one time option (once per entry) of applying for a “visit Thai family” extension which is for 60 days. If not, currently until March 30th you may apply for the “unable to travel due to Covid” extension which is also for 60 days. This deadline *may* be extended but no one knows yet if it will be.

What was the first (I guess your current) extension based on?

I'll assume 60 day family extension. As far as normal procedure goes, your best bet, if you can meet the requirements would be to get a year long extension of stay.

Since it's not normal times, the "covid" extension has been continued until 30thMarch 2021. You will have to ask your local immigration office for the exact requirements to apply for the covid extension.
