You're right 😉 I'm married and they start asking me "Where's your visa if you're married, why did you arrive without a visa?" I reply that I don't need a visa... And I see them angrily stamping me for 30 days 🤣🙈🤣
If they don't complete my application within the mentioned 2 weeks, can I apply for a Non-O Visa in Thailand to start the whole process over or do I have to do it in my home country? TIA
I entered the country with a NON-O visa from the UK, BUT the immigration officer said that if I wanted to use such a visa, I would have to start all paperwork from scratch (i.e. annual extension etc), he gave me a stamp for three months 😛 So the visa from the UK was useless, therefore I do not know if this is a normal procedure or if he did me a favour. I am writing to let you know how it all turned out. BR 😉
suggested for a visa to avoid the daily fee 😉 a Long time I didn't apply at the Thai embassy in the UK . Now don't need to send a passport and the visa comes as a pdf document on provided email, in my case 4 days. Now a bit of a breather after landing, no need to go straight to immigration.
This will be the second extension of the marriage visa
The first was on the basis of a 400,000THB deposit
Now it will be on the basis of a monthly income of 40,000 THB. We will see if it goes smoothly, I will let you know guys ;)BR
How can they count my overstay until I reach the office if my passport is from a country where I don't need a visa for up to 30 days? Perhaps I understand wrong but of my mind even if I not appear at the office, I'm still eligible to be in the country 30 days on the stamp.. or I'm completely wrong?
