Hi all, I have some question on Non-O visa extension via marry to thai wife.
My extension would be in Nonthaburi Immigration office.
This is my 1st time application for convert to 1 year. I get multi entry non-o visa and did visa run in the past.
I have 400k session in Bank and plan get bank letter for the process.
1. I saw some post it is up to 3 day. Does it mean bank letter only good for 3 day?
1. Lets say my fund reach 400k on 1st June, can I request bank letter on 1st Aug?
1. Is affidavit require for 1st time extension? if yes, where can I get one?
Thank you for your time

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the requirements for a Non-O visa extension through marriage to a Thai wife, particularly regarding the application process at the Nonthaburi Immigration office. They have a multi-entry Non-O visa and a bank balance of 400,000 THB. Key questions include the validity period of the bank letter, the timing for requesting it, and whether an affidavit is required for the first extension.

You need to go to the Nonthaburi immigration office (with your thai wife in tow) and get the hand out listing the documentation you need to apply for a year extension based on marriage to thai.
The 400K baht need to be seasoned in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you APPLY for the year extension.
You will need to get the standard bank letter, (the one that states on this date you had a balance of this much). MOST offices allow that letter to be up to 7 days old BUT some offices want it issued on the date you apply for your extension which is why I said GO to the immigration office before hand and find out how they do it there
Also you will need to update your bank book on the date you apply for the extension so it shows the 400K baht is still in the account on the date you apply
I have no idea what you're talking about as far as the affidavit :/ Sorry, tell me what you think that is
