I just went through imagration I was in thailand from January till June 2025 went home

Returned nov 17 imagration lady sent me to the little man in charge

He then took me to the big boss he was a nice fella said something about Canada and stamped me through on the way out the little fella said to get a visa next to big problem without visa I thought no it won't be because im taking my money to Vietnam after I close my frozen Bangkok bank

I don't think you will have a problem but they may tell you to get a proper visa next trip

60 day vise free then go to imagration for an extension 30 days 1900 bht now your 90 days in and you can do a border run and re enter for another 60 days

I would do this before you decide on retirement visa assuming you are 50 + i would definitely spend some time in Vietnam as well way better standard at a lower price

Also north and northeast thailand has horrible are quality in the burning season head for rayong province much more to offer in my opinion im also a Canadian fleeing a crumbling country 😀
