Foriegners are legally allowed to be yoga instructors. I have friends who had tbe movement clinic in phuket which was initially yoga and dance movement instruction and then moved on to pilates and feldenkrais. But was legally set up.

People think they can just come in do a two week retreat and it be all cool. Many have done in the past but now authorities are checking more

Better off hooking up with an already legal company and go through them. Think i read they arrested and deported a yoga instructor last month on koh phangan.

You dont need an appointment anywhere you can just walk in. You can make appointments in Bangkok but doesnt really make much difference that i can see

Its not a visa and its not likely to start this year.

I travel a lot and get asked about 50 % of the time now to show visa which if you dont have they will ask for onward ticket.

Before covid was rarely guess airlines worried about liability.

Its also in the IATA guidelines as a requirement.

Nobody knows, there is no clear guidelines with this. It basically up to immigration officer but make sure you have onward ticket,
