I heard it takes 4 week for approving. I think you are running out of time. Also I heard during the process time your visa run out, you need to fly out and come back in, and Elite is not responsible of extending or waive your current visa status

Elite sent a circular around to their members confirming that Elite holders are affected by this and cannot enter Thailand at the present time. They are extending Elite membership by six months as a compensation.

If you are already physically in Thailand, moving onto Elite and staying is an option. You might need to get going on it though if your permission runs out on 31, as the application process takes a certain amount of time.

FWIW I did read somewhere that they had sped up the process significantly, I think if you wanted it, no harm in asking them. You don't pay until actually approved anyway, so it's not like you'd pay and then have to leave.

Yeah, in my case it took more than a month. I lost some time due to annoying banks. But I don't think I could've made it in a month. I'd not recommend anyone inside the country start the process now. Would need some post July 31 clarity.

That service is not as elite as they claim to be. Just glorified tourist visa.

I chair a private investment group where I'm majority shareholder and our investment portfolio is well over 150 million usd currently. My father is a government minister in cambodia and my father in law had well over 1000 staff in phuket running one of the biggest hotel chains here. Please dont be ignorant
