Hello 👋 can someone give any examples of consent letter to introduce yourself and understanding the DVT visa please. This has been asked for by London embassy as supporting documents. Also a consent letter to remain in the UK until visa is done ..any advice will be appreciated thankyou
Hello, I plan to apply for the DTV in London. I currently have two sources of income. One is my remote freelance business which is the bulk of my income, however I also make around 1200GBP/month from two property rentals in the UK. Should I mention this? I don't know if it will strengthen or weaken my application.
Also, I've been told that there is no seasoning requirement for the funds in London, however I wanted to check if anyone has transfered the funds in to your bank acc and immediately applied? Mine arrived in my current account a couple of days ago and I already have a closing statement with 11k+. Wondering if I'd be pushing my luck by applying THAT quickly after receiving the funds. Only in the UK for a few weeks and really want to get it done ASAP.
When applying for a Non o visa based on over 50 how much do i need to show in my bank when applying in the uk & what other documents will they need from me.
- London have requested a flight atleast 4 weeks from todays date.
- a confirmation letter stating i will remain in the UK.
- letter confirming what i do and that i wont do business with thai companies (i have already sent this)
I have a family wedding in Thailand on the 19th January. What are my options here? I'm honestly not going to book a flight thats over 4 weeks away as it defeats a large part of the purpose of my trip. Ive already had to cancel a flight on 31 December. If I'm unable to fly before the wedding, I'll just cut my losses and do Vietnam instead.
Any help or sharing of similar experiences is appreciated.
Hi there. I have a quick question for anyone who has applied for the DTV in the UK. Approximately how long did it take to get a decision? I appreciate that extra documentation may be requested. Thanks very much!
Question: We are trying to plan for my Thai girlfriend to visit the UK for for the first time, for a short period, probably in the region of 5 days, plus a 7 day cruise to the Norwegian Fjords sandwiched in the middle. She has done group/family travel to the Schengen Zone a couple of times without any visa issues. In an attempt to get the UK Standard Visitor Visa application to go through smoothly, what kind of amount of funds does she need to prove to have in her bank account to satisfy UK immigration requirement for the visa application, bearing in mind she will only be in the UK for about 5 days on this first visit?
Return flight ticket, accommodation booked, having a educated and decent job, own house, family commitments, never overstayed anywhere, seems to tick most other boxes to satisfy the application. Just needing an idea of the amount of funds in her account that she will need to show, to allow the application to go smoothly
If my relationship with my Thai gf becomes more serious, and I want to marry and return with her to live in the UK, is it possible to get her residency?
Hey, does anyone have relatively recent experience of applying for a 90 Day Trailing Spouse Non-Imm 'O' based on their partner's OA visa in the UK? I last did this in 2021 so I'd be interested to know what documents they currently ask for and how easy the process is?
