On what basis are you claiming it must be ongoing? That was never part of the agreement. I’ve documented my participation and fulfilled my obligations. Now I expect Thailand to honor theirs.

A little experience and research indicates otherwise. Please reconsider passing on bad information to the community.

There are no good solutions for tourists. We can agree to disagree. You’ll need a driver’s license or special documentation to upload to your app of choice for any meaningful capability. Do you even live here?

Have you actually used TagThai? It’s poorly designed, slow, and PromptPay only works 20% of the time.

TrueMoney with a driver’s license works much better.

The app is slow and poorly designed. PromptPay only works 20% of the time. Good idea — substandard execution.

I obtained a residence certificate before my first 90 day report and didn’t use an agent. I did have a Thai friend helping, however.

I used A6. Passport on one side, DTV on the other. I used it to come in for the first time. Worked like charm.

Just use the most reasonable method. Don’t overcomplicate matters and annoy the reviewing staff.

Because physical paper is a hassle. Digital is more convenient and I’m moving from cash. Eventually, we all will.

Everyone forgets about the role that PromptPay plays. It’s important yet difficult without a Thai bank account. TagThai supports this yet doesn’t work well in my experience. It’s slow and I can only pay 20% of vendors. TrueMoney may support it better, but I need to report for my first 90 days before I get better PromptPay capability.
