Recent discussions highlight the issue of visa agency scams in Phuket, with two agencies named as being involved in fraudulent activities. Commenters note that individuals seeking these agencies may be attempting to avoid their responsibilities, as many immigration processes can be performed independently.

The only people being told to leave are those who were stupid enough to use an agent for something they could easily do themselves or those trying to buck the system. No big loss.
Yep, I am sure their wife and kids will not miss them. A lot of people turn to these services because they have no choice. After covid many will not have the $ in the bank to satisfy immigration. I am sure you pay for all your speeding or traffic tickets direct to the police station and have never slipped a couple hundred baht to the officer writing your ticket. Really no different.
Shows how much they think of their wives and kids if they can't bring in just 40k per month, but can find the money to get a dodgy visa off a dodgy agent. I don't pay any traffic fines because I find it easier to stick to the rules.
