As Ray Bond pointed out this morning they are now asking for SHA ++ or SHA plus extra bookings for test and go packages.
This means they are already aligned with a hospital to do the testing.
Only guessing that people were just booking SHA plus hotels and no testing (looks cheaper)
TLDR : Answer Summary
Thailand has updated its requirements for the Test and Go program, now mandating SHA++ or SHA plus extra accommodations that include testing services. This change aims to ensure travelers have proper testing arrangements upon arrival, leading to confusion as many previous bookings only involved SHA Plus hotels. The SHA++ label differs from SHA Plus, now indicating that both a hotel stay and testing are included in the package. This has raised questions about transitions for travelers already booked under older protocols and has led to increased discussions about the need for clear information and booking practices to avoid additional costs.
