The conversation discusses the complexity and frustration surrounding the process of flying to Thailand's Sandbox destinations, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Users share experiences about stringent paperwork checks upon arrival, and there are inquiries about flight logistics, specifically connecting flights from the U.S. to Koh Samui via Bangkok. It is emphasized that the Bangkok to Samui flight must match the designated flight numbers for the Sandbox program, highlighting the challenges faced by travelers in navigating these requirements.
There are no tickets for the entire route from America to Samui. My mother in law wants to visit but would have to take Qatar airways to Bangkok then take Bangkok airways to Samui. Is that okay?
