Thai immigration will not accept the income formula unless you get the letter. That's the problem.

The reason is because immigration and sections 37 and 38 of the immigration act says you have too.

Here is what they require. ORIGINAL documents. Not original copys. I would expect if you don't give them original documents you don't get the visa.

This has already been reported that they now require ORIGINAL documents.

I'm guessing this is why they have simply made the rule that as from 15th October, they won't issue anymore than 1 ED visa per year full stop

David Allen i believe Thailand are sick of being highlighted by the world media of having people that are convicted of rape, murder, drug offences etc coming here and being able to gain visas and permission to stay when they never should be able too.

Again this morning, the papers are running with the arrest of a US citizen absconding from the US under drugs charges and being arrested under an international warrant in Bangkok yesterday. How did he gain entry here before he went on 141 days overstay?

This PM has said so many times it's going to end and now, he's got somebody in place who really doesn't seem bothered who he upsets in giving it a go.

Everybody gets complacent thinking nothing will change. I have this inkling that this time, that may not be the case.

This is in Bangkok. Just because they don't push you to do it, it certainly don't over ride the immigration act when they decide too run with it.

Everything is fine until somebody decides it isn't.
