No derogation of your expertise, Todd, but this is apparently not universally true; When I renewed in January in Hua Hin the office refused to accept a bank statement that was only one day old. I was surprised myself, since Hua Hin Immigration is relatively laid back, in my opinion.

I renewed mine in Hua Hin this week. Usually a walk in the park, but this time around they sent me away because my bank letter & statement were three days old! Went back to the bank and had them re-done and then ran over to Immigration.
