I would like to know if it is still possible to apply to a non-immigrant O visa directly at the embassy (Kuala Lumpur for instance), or if the only way is to use the e-visa platform.
IO has been asking for police clearance certificate to extend Non-imm O (marriage) in Bangkok. I extend stay permit based on married to Thai last 3 years. This is first time experiencing such requirement. Is this same to other provinces? Or new rule?
I need to renew my annual visa — it's a Non-Immigrant O (Thai Family / wife) visa. I am German and based in Bangkok. This time, I will be abroad traveling when the visa expires, so I have a few questions:
1. How many days or weeks in advance can I apply for the extension?
2. Is it also possible to apply after the visa has expired — for example, one week later?
3. Lastly, I would really appreciate it if someone could share from experience which documents are usually required for the extension.
I entered Thailand a month ago on a Non-Immigrant O visa, but haven’t transferred the 800K THB yet. Due to a change in circumstances, I need to return to my home country next month and stay for about two months. Because of this, I don’t plan to transfer the funds until I return to Thailand. Will this cause any issues when I apply for the same type of visa again soon?
I have a couple of questions related to obtaining a 3months Non-Imm.O(marriage visa) in Thai Embassy in Vientiane.
Firstly, after applying through evisa sytem being in Vientiane, will I still need any official applications in paper as it was before to submit to thai Embassy in Vient.,or not?
Secondly, should I make the payment of 2000baht for the visa through the Thai Embassy in Vientiane before applying through evisa and attach that payment to the official evisa application?
Thirdly, How long(how many days) usually it takes for embassy to issue that visa if everything is in order and accepted by the immigration in Thailand?
Fourthly, is the any financial requirement (how many thousands baht) should an applicant has in his Thai banking account ,if any?); and,if this financial proof should be issued by the thai bank or it is enough to attach the copy of the bank book to evisa application?
Furtheremore, I live in Thailand for many years on Non-Imm O visa(marriage visa), but it will be the 1st time when I need to go to Laos to apply for this type of visa using eVisa system, and this is why I ask so many questions.
Kindly let me know with all detailed and current requiremnts.
Hello! I’m looking to possibly apply for a DTV under the soft-power category of medical treatment for iron infusions/anemia. I will be meeting with a specialist in my home country at the end of this month to get a better idea of how often treatments are needed, but from what I suspect it will be 1-3 months of treatments annually with a check-up every 6 months. From what I understand of the Non-Immigrant-O visa, I would have to be over the age of 50 to qualify (which I am not), so DTV might be my best option — especially if I need the treatments annually & a check-up bi-annually. What are the chances I am approved for a DTV for needing these transfusions? My primary reason being that they’re more accessible & affordable to me in Thailand, but I also do really love spending time in Thailand & would ideally like to also take language &/or classes during my time there if approved with the DTV & iron treatments help improve my energy levels.
I am getting married to my Thai partner in early July and wish to retire in Thailand. I have started to an application for a non o visa and I got extremely bogged down around the fourth page asking for things like proof of medical insurance and funds in a Thai bank account as well as a medical certificate and police clearance. Am I approaching this the right way. I am from Australia. I'm sure that this kind of question has been asked repeatedly however, any constructive information would be greatly appreciated. I intend to register our marriage and apply for a spousal visa.
