Hello everyone,

I just returned from a trip from Bangkok, this time I entered the country by land (from Cambodia with a cambodian passport) to visit some friends. As I remember from my previous trips I had a 14 days visa, but this time I’m a bit confused as of the stamps on my passport. Is it a mistake from the immigration officer ? Because the date mentioned on the stamp doesn’t make sense (18/03 till 16/05).

Kind regards.

What happens if I quit my job after arriving in Thailand? Any idea if they would randomly ask for updated documents during my 180 day border runs

At some time in the future are we going to see extensions turned down because the 3 week/month course of study or medical treatment has been completed?

Chiang Mai online appointments for extensions

Have they removed marriage extensions as an option to book schedules ?? I dont see marriage as a possibility to book ?

2nd one.. They are listing e-extensions on the CM immigration website but I believed that was only bangkok VFS not CM VFS (the website seems a little unclear).

Important notice from the Bangkok Immigration Bureau: To reduce congestion and the risk of infection, the Immigration Bureau asks you to submit an application to stay no more than 3 days in advance of the expiry date.

Hi. A little freaked out at the moment. My retirement visa will expire in April. Last year I only had to show that I was receiving money from overseas amounting to more than 70 000 Baht monthly. Now, I am being told that I also have to have 800 000 Baht in my bank account. Anybody know of any changes in the policy?

And so it begins :O

IF you are using an agency to secure your proof of funds to get a visa or extension inside the country at the immigration office let this be a warning to you.

It is not gonna work for that much longer.
