I keep hearing a particular visa agent in Pattaya say that more dtvs are being "revoked" than issued. Can anyone here attest to instances of dtv getting "revoked"? EDIT: It appears that this is nonsense which is good news.
Just wanted to give some relieving news - I had overstayed my DTV by about 3+ days. Paid the fine, no problem @ BKK airport. Had a few laughs and then asked the agent about potential revocation. No revocation until after 90+ days of overstay.
I read in previous comments that you'd be banned, kicked out, revoked, etc. That is, for me and those at BKK airport immigration, not true.
Keep the overstay minimal, and you shouldn't have a problem!
I just had my DTV revoked . originally it was paid for by my employer but I stopped working for them and they wrote to embassy to inform them I’m no longer contracted to them & had my DTV revoked
Hello, I just found out that upon quitting his job as director, my husband's company is planning to officially list in the paper that he is no longer part of the company and that his work permit and visa will be revoked. Does anyone know if that is immediate upon publishing or if there is a certain time window to exit the country?
