Hi, I received a 60-day visa exemption on arrival and have been in Thailand for 3 weeks now. Can I just go to Immigration now to extend my visa for another 30 days, or do I need to wait until closer to its expiration, like 10 days before or something? Thank you. 🙏

Hello does anyone have any experience with visa extension in Cambodia?? I was waiting for the DTV approval but I only have a visa exemption..so I'm worried that I'll not get that in 14 days and want to apply for a T visa. So my question is can I apply it in person at immigration office?? What things do they require?

Are you able to get a residence certificate with the DTV visa?

Looking to purchase a vehicle when I get to Thailand, and this is one of the requirements.

Changing jobs without leaving Thailand.

I am on a non-imm B visa and work permit in Bangkok. I have accepted a new role in another province.

Both current/future employers are willing to coordinate.

My current employer with cancel both my visa and work permit.

My new employer will apply for the new work permit.

What steps do I need to do to obtain a new imm B visa without leaving the country? What questions should I be asking the immigration office to ensure it all runs smoothly?

Thank you

Hi. When I visit Thailand I stay with my g/f in her rented condo near Rangsit. I'm never usually there for more than 2 months at a time, a few times a year.

In the past, when I had to apply for a 60 day visa, (from UK) I completed a TM30 myself with all of her details etc & took to the local Immigration Office. Only on one occasion did the Officer take any action & stamped the receipt part of TM30 & returned to me. On the 2nd occasion, I did the same thing but was told by a different official that TM 30 was NOT required. When I queried this, she said if questioned, just to say the Immigration Officer has stated "Not Required."

I'm sure I'm obliged to compete. Anyone else had to deal with this type of situation where partner is in rented accommodation? Thanks.

I did my 90 day online reporting yesterday (15 October), when it was due. For my work visa

Just got email saying it was rejected today. Can I do a short trip to a nearby country to reset the reporting period or is it too late and I need to present myself with all the documentation at the immigration office at Chamchuri ? (Our company is BOI).

For all people entering with a DTV: double check the IO stamps the correct dates!

I just realized my DTV was stamped in for only 5 months instead of 180 days 🤦‍♂️

I entered via land border and i’m now very far away from there. TBH i’m not even planning to stay the full 5 months.

Should i even try to get it fixed at the nearest immigration office?

In fact, my calculation says it’s only 149 days. This already includes the start and end dates.

Start date: October 7, 2024

End date: March 4, 2025

Hi everyone, I am trying to seek advise with regards to my WP and extension of stay on my non b visa. Currently, my work permit and visa extension is dated til 2nd October. I will not be continuing work with the current company (BOI). Will I have to cancel the WP and extension of stay on my own ? And how should I do it ? Many thanks in advance.

Does the DTV visa once approved specify if it is DTV workcation or DTV Thai soft power? If just general then I assume to apply for for soft power activity now eg. MuayThai one can transition to workcation later at a time of their choosing without having to amend anything? The visa is one in the same right? My understanding is that there is just the different methods to apply to get it approved.

I am intending to apply at Jakarta in person. The soft power approach seems the simplest in terms of documents required but I wonder what the risk is of them issuing an ED visa instead?

I am currently finishing my first year ED (Thai language) visa so have been on a career break this past year. I am also thinking to bring extra documents to support application (local Thai police background check to confirm no criminal history & letter from landlord confirming residency).

I'm interested to hear anyone's insight or advice 🙏🏻
