Dave Richmond . I went to Pak Nam immigration to get a certificate of residence to get a driving license after doing my 2 day motorbike test. Pak Nam gave me a piece of paper and told me to collect the certificate of residence in 7 days time. Which I did last Thursday
I have just opened a Kasikorn account on a 90 day non O visa.
I needed
1, A TM 30 Signed by condo owner
2, Copy of condo owners ID card and copy had to be signed by ID owner
3, My visa
4, My lease agreement signed by owner
5, My passport
6, A recent passport sized photo of myself
7, A Thai phone number registered in my name
I didn't need a certificate of residence
I was in the bank at Bang Bo for about 1.5 to 2 hours
I actually went 2 times to the bank because the first time I attended all my needed documents didn't have the original signature of the condo owner. The documents were photo copies and the bank wouldn't accept photo copied signatures of condo owner
When i applied for my non O retirement visa I looked for a flight at about the time I wanted to fly and put those details into the online application. I ended up booking my actual flight on a date 3 days after what was on my visa application
