No. What u heard is wrong.

I still using IDP in Thailand and already confirmed with land and transport authority,

Myanmar IDP is still recognising under Geneva Convention.

Always carry two passports

Show to IO old passport visa page but stamp in new book.

This is what I always did without any issue. Cheer!

3 times in 6 months in and out Phuket with DTV visa. No issue at all. All officer were friendly.

BTW I am Brown Man, holding Myanmar Passport 😀.

Thai Embassy in Myanmar asking bank statement. Never mentioned how much. But I applied with my wife as dependent.

Anonymous participant One question… why u have to mention ur boss who also working remotely in Thailand or stay and work together in same villa. If u apply DTV outside Thailand no one will ask u where u will live.

U just submit ur contract and just testimony from ur Boss and verify that u are remote work.

And show them where is ur income source in case they ask.

That’s fine. That what I did it to got my DTV and even though for my wife as dependent.

I just stay one week… 3 weeks outside Thailand.

Came back to Thailand I got another 180 days.

But IO asked me how long will u stay this time.

That’s all I had it

I did it at Central BBK Bank last week.

But u need to buy AIA insurance. Then they will open for u.
