What should I say during my Thai visa interview about sharing accommodation with my employer?

ORIGINAL POSTERI have applied for DTV and the thai embassy invited me for the interview for next week.
I work as a remote recruiter (applied for workation) for a company registered in Dubai (everything is legal) and my Employer is EU citizen but he got his DTV in December and came to Thailand in December on DTV as well. (Shall i ask for his DTV copy?) In case embassy asks?
He rented a villa on a lease contract for 6 months and I will live in same villa as well with him in Thailand. And i uploaded that lease agreement when the embassy asked for hotel booking. The lease agreement has my name and my employer name on it.
If the embassy question about that? Shall i just come clean that he moved to Thailand and suggested me too that I apply for DTV and let's work and explore Thailand together.
It shouldn't be a problem because i am not working for thai company or thai citizen and not even doing recruitment business in Thailand as well.
What do you guys suggest??? What should I do??

Just be honest. Unless he employed you to his business and make you a contract just to get DTV visa? If that's the case its okay as long as all are legal, they might ask you to show proof of work that's why they called you for interview.

Anonymous participant its quite new but just go and get some proof of work. I signed my contract 2months before i applied for DTV ( via E-Visa ) and no question and additional documents asked

So you work for an employer who is based in Thailand? I'm not sure that works for a DTV, does your employer have a business registered outside Thailand? If so showing a contract with that business should be OK but I don't think showing a contract directly with the employer on a DTV works

Anonymous participant i don't think that matters, people can share accommodation, nothing wrong with that. What I'm saying could be a problem is your working relationship. If you work for someone in Thailand that is not working remotely, if you both work for a company in Dubai independently of each other then I don't see a problem. It all comes down to the working relationship between you and your boss

Anonymous participant if you work remotely for the Dubai business and don't work with people inside Thailand that would be fine, but it sounds like you will work for your boss while both are in Thailand which I don't think is OK

Anonymous participant - Remote work usually means you work away from your company office. If your company only has one other person and they are in Thailand and you are living and working for him, you can see how the embassy might not consider that “remote work”.

Anonymous participant they are not concerned at all with whom you live with. You need to follow an old Thai saying "you think too much".

Anonymous participant - Ideally you probably should have booked a short term place (just a week) initially. However, it might look even more strange to change it now. Just have to lean into it and be honest. Try not to focus on the fact that he is your boss, but if they catch it, be clear. Can you highlight that while he is your boss, he is a friend and that is why you live together (only if they ask questions)?

Anonymous participant One question… why u have to mention ur boss who also working remotely in Thailand or stay and work together in same villa. If u apply DTV outside Thailand no one will ask u where u will live.
U just submit ur contract and just testimony from ur Boss and verify that u are remote work.
And show them where is ur income source in case they ask.

i do not need to mention i agree, but the lease contract has my name and his name on it, if they question about my accommodation and who is this other guy on the contract or straight up is he not the same guy who you work with? becuase all the work contracts are signed by him, his name is all overReply to

Answer only what's asked. Don't volunteer information unless on topic and extremely relevant. Definitely tell the truth. You share a lease with someone if asked. Don't complicate things. The embassy likely wants to understand your business model and that you aren't servicing any Thai ppl or entities.
