After further checking, I found conflicting information.

Wikipedia lists Myanmar as a contracting party to the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (1968), but the official UN/UNECE list does not include Myanmar.

I’m genuinely confused — could someone clarify why there is such a discrepancy?

I’ve heard that Myanmar is unable to issue an IDP under the Geneva Convention, so it may be difficult to drive legally in Thailand
