He could start using the money as soon as he gets the visa.

Then next year when he does have less than 800k in bank he can still pay an agent🤷

Not very difficult spending half of it in 1 year already

Is an onward flight with a different airline acceptable for check-in with Thai Airways when entering Thailand on a TR visa?

You are wrong. In order to get the multy entry visa you need to submit an onward ticket leaving Thailand AND a return ticket back to Thailand.

Otherwise they will not issue multy entry visa.

If you don't have a return ticket to Thailand they will only issue the normal 60 day tourist visa
