TLDR : Answer Summary
The question explores the entry limitations for a resident of Cambodia traveling to Thailand. Responses clarify that entry is restricted to two land border crossings per calendar year without a visa, while air travel incurs no such limitations. With the appropriate visa, however, there are no restrictions on the number of entries, allowing for unlimited access.
EXACTLY, Burma was the food bowl of Asia... Bad govt. ! Sri Lanka was fantastic .... war with Tamils shite government now woke and bankrupted the country, nothing to do with the Sri Lankans taken over by Muslims and Indians.
Thailand is being invaded from the South by Malay Muslims, same in the Philippines. DISASTER.
I understand your point. I finally went about a year ago crossing at Poipet onward to Siem Reap. I wanted to see all SE Asian nations, and that required seperating a people from their government. I spent 8 days and I found lots of desperate people, and lots of well fed officials. There's a look over your shoulder dark side just under the surface in Cambodia, but my lowest ranked regional crossing by far is Tachileik Myanmar. The Myanmar border is currently closed.
such a shame Burma! I was there years ago, restricted to 7 day visit, you had to have a bottle of scotch to get where you wanted to go. Amazing place. Then when living in Thailand we did border runs from Ranong to 'Victoria point' in Myanmar. Everything cheap compared to Thailand I was told girls charged .25c. Poor buggers.
correct until the IO pulls aside which could never happen you never know if they feel your trying to live in Thailand without the proper visa you could be denied but with a tourist visa youโll be fine Poi Pet is a tough land border

Cambodia allows you unlimited access, because you have the appropriate visa. If you want unlimited access to Thailand, just get the appropriate visa. No problem
and what is the no problem visa? just a regular entry? i donโt overstay or even extend. i only stayed 18 days in November so far. before that 30 days in 2019 . before that 2003 and 2004.
i am trying to understand how he thinks Cambodia being the "kingdom of wonders". It not a kingdom any more since the Khmer Rouge took it over, and nowadays it feels like a Chinese colony ๐ ๐ but well, it still allows foreigners the whole year over on smallish requirements
If you don't have a Thai visa and you'll be using a land border, you can only enter 2 times per calendar year. With a visa the is no limit. By air without a visa there is no limit.
