TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, it is possible to obtain a 60-day visa twice a year for Thailand, although the approval may vary depending on the consulate or embassy policies. Some locations may restrict back-to-back tourist visas, so it is advisable to check with the specific embassy's website for their current regulations. Many users have reported successfully acquiring two visas in a calendar year, while others noted changes in availability following COVID-19, suggesting a potential increase in visa runs or alternatives like multi-entry visas.

Before Covid I did many times twice a year. Now with visa I couldn't even get one! And the Thai embassy was even a bit rude about getting just one. Will have to do visa run.

Like Brandon says, it depends. Check each consulates website.

More and more consulates in the region will now no longer issue back-to-back tourist visas.

Depends on the embassy. Each one makes their own rules. For example Savannakhet only allows 1 tourist visa during a rolling 365 days now.

Just one bought by them, or one in total? For example if i get from another embassy one, are they going to give me second?

I'm not sure about that. Normally it's only one bought from them though.
