You can apply for the 6 month METV visa with extensions and strategic border bounces you ca. get 9 months out of the visa…

if your husband is ab official resident of Vietnam he can also apply for the METV in Vietnam if not he will have to go back to his passport country(s) or a country he has legal residency in to apply for that visa…

if not he can apply for the 60 day SETV visa with a 30 day extension at your local immigration office for ฿1,900 he can get 90 days in country, then he can go apply for the visa again at an embassy/consulate outside of Thailand…

if not he cab do a land border crossings for 30 day visa exempt stamp with an extension of 30 days at your local immigration office for ฿1,900

You can do 2 land border crossings per calendar year 1 Jan - 31 Dec before it resets

Try for the medical visa

Go to a hospital talk to the staff, get put in for observation…hospitals like Bumrungrad have an immigration liaison on site to help facilitate extensions etc

the official answer is there is no limit on the amount of times one can fly in, however depending on the I/O and your history of 30 day visa exempt stamps you could be questioned, or they will say welcome to Thailand…nobody knows

I have done border bounces where I have departed the plane, went through immigration, departed the arrival terminal walked to the departure terminal and checked in for a flight back to DMK all within 5 hours of landing, it was a day trip for me....I could have done a shorter border bounce but I planned for anything that could delay me (Immigration Queues, check in Queues, planes being late etc)

Malaysia is the easiest and cheapest, Vietnam depending on what passport you hold you will have to buy a visa so that increases the cost, Laos and Cambodia you will have to buy a visa so this increases the price ...other good ones are HK and Singapore
