I have TM30 scenario and don’t know where else to ask.

I’ve been asked to move into a house that is inside a Thai army base.

My concerns are:

Is that even plausible? I can see a farang going into immigration with a military address on a TM47 and it being a problem.

The TM30 itself can be created by the resident of that home? No lease, family if you will. I’ve had to create my TM30s in my current location, so I suspect that might not be a problem other than being located on military grounds.

Thanks!

Hi everyone.

What is the actual situation of the 90 days report online application? Do you recommend to do it?

I heard for months that it does not work and now that I have to do it for the first time I am afraid to try and if it doesn't work, make it more complicated to later do it again by visiting the inmigration office.

My 90-day report is due on December 6th. If I depart via plane on December 6th is that ok?

Sorry, not exactly visa related, but a question about 90 day report.

Very soon i have to do my first 90 day report here in Chiang Mai, i know i have to do the first in person, and i've downloaded the TM47, but i don't have a TM6, i entered over land from Laos and don't believe i was required to complete this form.

Is the TM6 necessary, and how do i get 1?

I’m living in Chiang Mai with my wife and our four children, all on DTVs. 90 days for us is next Thursday. Online isn’t available for the first report, and I opted to try in-person to see if it was as easy as I had been told. It was. I asked another expat for advice and was told to take passports, TM30s, and completed TM47s. I also took a print-out of our house lease agreement but wasn’t asked to show it. I didn’t take passport photocopies. I got to the drive-up window not long before 1:00; it was closed for lunch between 12 and 1. Several minutes later the window opened, and I gave the officer the stack of six passports (with TM47s loose and TM30s attached inside each one). It took him about three minutes to process all six of them and issue printed receipts. Please note that this is my experience in Chiang Mai today; no guarantee that this will work exactly the same in other places or at a later date. Also: our passports are stamped through Feb. 19, but, because I went in a week early for 90-day reporting (you can do it between 15 days before and 7 after the 90-day mark), the receipts show that we need to report again 90 days from today (Feb. 11), not 90 days from the 90th day (Feb. 19). So, if one wants to schedule a 180-day border bounce very close to a visa stamp date, don't report ahead of the 90-day date like I did unless you want to report twice before leaving the country.

Just did my 90 day report on the DTV visa in Phuket, pretty straight forward, in and out after 20min, no cost involved for the reporting.

Documents:

Signed copy of Passport info page

Signed copy Passport last arrival stamp

DTV E-Visa printed (or visa label in passport if you have)

TM30, TM47

Who has completed the TM47 in Pattaya or Si Racha area? Easy at immigration office? Ok to do on own? What documents? Thanks 🙏

Hello

I returned to Thailand on a retirement visa with multi re-entry permit which expires April 2025. My address has changed but I am still in the same city where I received my retirement visa.

Do I or my landlord need to file a TM 30? I have been back a few weeks but have been traveling.

Thank you very much

For a DTV visa what is required in regards to the TM 30 and TM 47? Are both of those required for us to do?
