I am in the same boat in January, hoping to get my second year stamp. Although, I will be entering from KL into Don Mueang airport. Have we had any reports of problems at that airport please?

many thanks Robert. I think it will just be easier and less hassle to buy a Thai health insurance. It hurts as I already have world wide insurance that covers me here but ....'Ce la vie' they are the rules! James gave me some advice on this...once again many thanks.

thanks for your suggestions. I am over here with my wife on a O-A visa. I am looking at options to avoid buying a med insurance now compulsory for that visa. I have international insurance that covers everything however, i can not get directors signatures, so as far as we know can’t be used. I don’t want 2 insurances just as a paperwork exercise so was looking at changing my visa to a non O based on retirement. But needed to have METV as return to the UK
