Is Tricare US Military Medical Insurance accepted for OA Visa?

Are there any US Military Retirees who recently applied and received the OA Visa? I need to confirm if Tricare Insurance is accepted, based on the requirements for the OA Visa of 300,000 THB or $100k per policy year. Would love hear back from my fellow retiree’s. Thanks

Entering on Visa exemption instead of OA visa

Hi, I'm currently in my first year OA retirement visa and I would like to switch to an O visa.

As I am in Hanoi now, I thought about re-entering Thailand on visa exemption instead of on my OA visa which is still valid for 3 weeks.

After that I want to apply for my non-immigrant O in Chiang Mai.

Is this possible, will Thai immigration let me in on visa exemption if my OA visa is still valid for a few weeks?

And will CM immigration office then allow me to apply for the O visa based on my exemption entry?

Hello, I've corrected my previous message. My stay ends on March 31st, so I will renew my first year of my non-immigrant retirement visa (OA) at the beginning of March. I will submit the application myself to immigration. (I have a 12-month foreign insurance certificate from AXA, approved by the TGI list, a 12-month lease, and I have the 800k (I will pay the required documents on the day of my application before going to immigration). My passport is valid for another 8 years, and I have the TM7 form to complete, two recent photos, and the 1900 baht fee.) Am I missing any documents? Thank you.

Hi. Question on OA visa - can someone please tell me if I need a year lease as proof of accommodation for the full 12 months of the visa? If it can be less, what's the least amount of time I need to rent accommodation for, to provide proof of Thai address? I've looked on various websites and even emailed the Thai Embassy in London but no one seems to want to tell me the minimum duration for Thai address. I won't get over before my I get OA visa and I don't really want to rent somewhere long term until I've seen the place. Thanks in advance for useful replies.

I just went on the Thai embassy website. It gives you the option of filling out a Non O retirement visa. I have heard you can still open a Thai bank account in Thailand, then do the retirement visa in Thailand. Is this a good option instead of the OA retirement visa? I live in the United States
