My wife and I have just obtained our O-A visa at the London embassy based on retirement. We arrived 5 mins after opening and were numbers 17/18 in line, less than 30 mins later we were done. Collected our passport the next day at 1100 hrs, in and out in 5 mins. The whole process was painless and straightforward, thanks Todd and Robert for all your advice on this forum.

Now when you fly in here make SURE they stamp you in for a whole year.. Many many MANY people get stamped in wrong and as much hoop jumping as you did to get those visas you want the right date when you stamp in.
thanks Todd. Quick question please. On the arrive Section of the TM6 it asks for length of stay. Do I need to annotate this as 1 year even though I have a flight booked back to the UK in April. Should I also state on the departure section my April flight number or leave it blank. Thanks
