Just wanted to give some relieving news - I had overstayed my DTV by about 3+ days. Paid the fine, no problem @ BKK airport. Had a few laughs and then asked the agent about potential revocation. No revocation until after 90+ days of overstay.

I read in previous comments that you'd be banned, kicked out, revoked, etc. That is, for me and those at BKK airport immigration, not true.

Keep the overstay minimal, and you shouldn't have a problem!

First 90 day report question: I just arrived in BKK, My tm30 is registered to my apartment in BKK. Can I do my 90 day report in person at Immigration in Chiang Mai? Or do I have to show up at immigration in BKK? I won’t be able to get an appointment In BKK before I go to Chiang Mai and i sure as hek don’t want to be there without an appointment. Can I do it in Chiang Mai? Or should I just take the 2k fine next time I have to file? Of course I want to respect all rules, but sometimes there are circumstances where you have to find a solution. When arriving into BKK on a 30 day tourist visa, what id the best way of extending it and how long can it be extended for?

Thanks to the advice from this group, I got my Non "O" Retirement 90 days until Sep 20, 2023 and the 1-year extension until Sep 18, 2024.

Question - if I leave Thailand on Sep 26 (7th day of 90 days expiration) for a short trip, do I still need to make the 90-days reporting physically at BKK Immigration, before leaving Thailand? I understand that our 90-days reporting must be made within 15 days before or after 7 days the period of 90 days expires.

Reporting online is no problem, but I am wondering if I have to go to BKK Immigration for my first 90-days reporting. Thank you in advance for any advice - the info you provide is immensely useful!!!

Is there anyone who recently went to BKK Immigration Office to apply/get the residence certificate, and can share the requirements please？ Is it still possible for just bringing the TM30 , then can get the residence certificate？
