Can I ask when you are planning on arriving in BKK please? ......before or after 1 November? If after can you update us on what happens regarding insurance please.
thanks Todd. Quick question please. On the arrive Section of the TM6 it asks for length of stay. Do I need to annotate this as 1 year even though I have a flight booked back to the UK in April. Should I also state on the departure section my April flight number or leave it blank. Thanks
I have been reading this thread with interest as going to be in a similar situation come January. I already rent a condo in BKK, when I took out the lease in September I did so on a non imm o visa. The agent registered my details at the IO. When I return in Jan it will be with an OA visa based on retirement. Is there a requirement for the agent to report my arrival back in BKK. Reading previous threads I believe it’s not enforced here.....is that correct? Thanks
Thank you for your response Todd. We are currently in Thailand both on a single entry O visa. Our intention was for us both to get a non O -A visa next month when we return to the UK, me based on my pension and my wife on our savings, but have just realised that our savings account is in my name only. Therefore she would not be able to demonstrate proof of funds. Therefore, your advice sounds our best option until we can get our account name changed to a joint account and wait 3 months. Would the yearly extension to her Non O visa be multi entry as we would need to return to the U.K. periodically during that year.
