I got the visa after I arrived, changed from tourist to non Immigrant

Just do a border run out and in no problem, Myanmar or Malaysia, can do the same day

It's an additional year you will get. I'm doing the same thing and putting in my application in March

If entering Thailand it's still Inernational arrivals,

I don't know how people get the wrong Stamp's in their passport, as it is checked on the way in,

However not sure about the address change, I would just go in and change it at immigration to be safe,

Lloyd is correct as it takes 20 years of retirement visa renewal to even apply for residents visa, even if married to Thai.

I've been here 4 months and don't have a flight out, no problem just ensure you fill out a departure card as they want a copy of that, I lost mine so I need to keep reporting it lost to the police. All good
