As far is I know there are more Thais in jail than foreigners. And I see more than once every day Thais getting arrested. But I agree with you, they don't arrest Thais for Visa problems.

... The reality is that going after overstayers and illegal aliens is easy. now let's hope that they could focus on things as simple as driving and wearing helmets or drug peddlers along Sukhumvit... not holding my breath.
well when you try to do it the right way in Thailand you always end up like you are the stupid one so yes your are right but it will take at least 50 years for some things to change here :) meanwhile I enjoy not paying tax and drive drunk with no helmet :)
