TLDR : Answer Summary
The user currently holds a non-O extension and a 12-month multiple entry visa. They inquire whether changing to a non-B visa and obtaining a work permit will affect their multiple entry visa. Comments clarify that the multiple entry permit is tied to the current extension; if the extension ends, so does the re-entry permit. However, it is also noted that a work permit can be held legally if the non-O extension is based on marriage.

David Mcmillan, IF you are on that extension based on marriage you can hold a work permit and legally work.

Taran Lihaven, you can ONLY hold a work permit on an extension based on marriage to a thai national not if you're married to a foreigner here on a long term extension.

No, this multiple re-entry permit is given based on your current Extension of Stay, as soon as that stops the re-entry permit stops.
